Here it is, the picture that started it all! I was just drawing in class one day and realized how much my style had changed...so I decided to try drawing a large picture to see if it was true. This was the result. And so a comic was born! ^_^. |
Everything in this picture was done by hand, including the shadows. Not just by hand, but by using ONE mechanical pencil. Isn't it hell to do?...anyway, this is a flashback to a memory of a scene that hasn't happened yet. Be patient, you won't see it forever yet! |
| This is the first try at drawing one of the Duelist cards. It's Amber as the Moonlight Siren!...nah, ya think? |
Here's the Halloween art special for 2002. From Left to Right: Drek and Laurel as Aya and Aki (Ceres), Dia as Dilandau (Escaflowne), Jade as Sango (Inu Yasha), Faith as Sumomo (Chobits), Amber as Saint Tail (Saint Tail), and Vincent as Rock (Metropolis). Make awed noises now, it's the first full cast picture!
| |
Here's a picture for the comicgenesis card deck...Jade as the queen of spades! It's so pretty....
| |
For those of you who can't wait till Disks Three and Four for my angel baby to show up, here's Alexi right here! I copped out on the ings, but doesn't he have such gorgeous hair? I want...and yes, he DOES look like a girl. He's an angel. Cut the poor kid a break.
| |
And here's another picture of Alexi looking *gasp* Happy! He will be wearing that outfit later on in the comic. And I plan on making him play football in it sometime, too ^_-.
| |
A cute little picture I drew a while back of Vincent and Jade. This is actually the first picture I ever drew of Vince. I'm quite proud of it. And admit it...they look harmless. Now everyone laughs.
| |
It took me a week to do this picture, but it was well worth it. This is actually based on a piece of art by my idols, CLAMP, and I dedicate it to Margaret for inspiring me to do clothes and Time Warp for giving me the CLAMP Northside art book for free, where I saw this picture. For those of you who have seen it...yes, Dia should be wearing a hat, Jade and Fatih should switch places hairwsie, and Amber lost the headwrap. Jade and Faith fit the outfits I put them in better and besides, the hair COLOR was right even if the length isn't, Dia looks too cool without the hat for me to add it, and Amber would never cover up her hair. Ever. It's just that simple. Anyway, everyone enjoy the pretty picture now!

I drew this for the October Round B of MAX Exchange. It's Kaeda from Wasteland Angel. I decided to draw Kaeda because...well, out of all the stories there, Wasteland Angel appealed to me the most, and when I saw Kaeda's picture, I just went Wow Must Draw Her Coolest Outfit Ever! So here it is.
MAX pic for November B. I decided to draw Ash because of all the Ocean's End characters, she and Disa were the ones I liked the best. Everyone seems to draw Disa, and I've always liked elves anyway, so the decision was easy after that. I'm not sure how good this is, but I'm proud of it and it's probably the best computer coloring job I've ever done, at least...
MAX pic for December A. I was in a festive mood and wanted to do some kind of holiday picture. Originally, I planned on drawing AiA and Nomiko together exchanging gifts or something, but AiA turned out so well that I was afraid I'd blow it trying to draw Nomiko. The tree is crap, and there is an unholy amount of green here, but I think it turned out well. I like colored pencils ^_^.
MAX pic for December B. ..don't ask where this picture came from. Chalk it up to holiday insanity and too much eggnog, which is probably how Imako got herself into this situation in the first place. I used my new watercolor pencils for the coloring here, but I'm not sure how well it worked. I do like the effect I got on the bow and hair, though!
MAX pic for January A. I picked Alri this time because...well, because she fences and besides that I loved the dress she has in her character picture! Originally I wanted to have her daydreaming about her special someone (how cute...gag), but that fell through in the battle with my scanner. I like the drawing itself, especially the hands, but the CG job isn't my best ever...I was rushing a little in my excitement to have a working scanner again....um...right... *Runs off to hug her new scanner*

MAX pic for February B. Okay. I was told to do something with cheese. That's surprisingly hard to do in 13 days. Then I checked out "Tomorrow Tales"...hey, if Yueh can have a sentinent ruler, why not have tea with cheese? I'm giving up on CG except in rush jobs now, and experimental mediums hate me, so I'm sticking with colored pencils this round. Li has lots of shinny metallic accents on her clothes, too. I have such fun pencils.

L. Buff, your comic makes me squeal with happiness ^_^. That said, I was very unsure of what to do for this round-just that I wanted to draw Dak because I love redheads. I finally took a simpler approach that ended up being harder than I thought because I remembered the disaster with the Christmas tree in December and my problems with lack of shading and such. All colored pencils again (except for the sky), but I think I did a better job of shading and line contrasts this time, and I'm very very very proud of this submission. L. Buff, hopefully you like it, too.
